Nielsen-Massey Orange Chicken Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 pounds roasting chicken
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon Nielsen-Massey Pure Orange Extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon all-season salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots

Directions

Baste chicken with marinade mixture and place it in a 375 degrees F oven. The chicken is done when a thermometer is inserted into the chicken’s thigh (not touching the bone) and reads 160-170 degrees F. Cover chicken with foil if it begins to brown too quickly. While chicken is roasting, baste frequently. Serve with steamed carrots.
