Vanilla Cream Topping for Fresh Fruit Kabobs

Yield: About 7 fl. oz.210 ml

4 fl. oz.120 ml cream cheese
2 tablespoons2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
1/3 cup33 g powdered sugar
1 tablespoon1 tablespoon Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract
2 tablespoons2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Place cheese and butter in a medium microwave bowl. Heat for 15 to 30 seconds on high or until butter has softened, but not melted. Whisk together until thoroughly combined and then whisk in confectioner’s sugar until well blended. Add cream and vanilla, whisking until smooth. Store topping in refrigerator until ready to serve.

This topping tastes great with fresh seasonal fruit or as a dip with graham crackers. To make an extra special appetizer or dessert, cut fresh fruit into bite-size portions and thread onto a wooden skewer. Serve the topping in a bowl next to the kabobs for easy dipping.

Note:
Stir before serving, adding additional cream to thin, if necessary.
