Vanilla Scented Southern Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract

  • 4 cups thinly sliced green cabbage
  • 1 cup thinly sliced red cabbage
  • 3/4 cup shredded carrot

Directions

Whisk vinegar, sugar, oil, mustard, celery seed, salt, vanilla and pepper in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed. Stir in the cabbages and carrot until they are coated with dressing.
