Cream butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla. Add flour and nuts. Chill dough at least 1 hour or until firm Roll dough into balls (about the size of walnuts) and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees F. While warm, sift confectioner’s sugar over cookies. Allow cookies to cool. Repeat covering with more confectioner’s sugar as desired.
