Suspiro de Vainilla (Vanilla Whispers)

Ingredients

  • 16 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup vanilla confectioner’s sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract (or Pure Vanilla Extract)
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup blanched ground almonds

Directions

Cream butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla. Add flour and nuts. Chill dough at least 1 hour or until firm Roll dough into balls (about the size of walnuts) and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees F. While warm, sift confectioner’s sugar over cookies. Allow cookies to cool. Repeat covering with more confectioner’s sugar as desired.

  • 95 g blanched ground almonds
