Matcha Mint Syrup
Matcha Mint Shamrock Float
- 2-3 tablespoons matcha mint syrup
- 1/2 can seltzer water (6 ounces)
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
Directions
Matcha Mint Syrup
In a small pot, combine sugar, water and matcha powder. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, whisking until all sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat, stir in peppermint and vanilla extracts. Allow syrup to cool completely.
Matcha Mint Shamrock Float
Mix matcha syrup with seltzer water to make matcha soda. Put 2 scoops of ice cream in the bottom of a pint glass and pour matcha soda over ice cream. Garnish with matcha powder and/or fruits.
Notes:
- Store leftover matcha syrup in an airtight container. Syrup can be used in matcha lattes, cocktails and other beverages
- Recipe can be made with a dairy-free ice cream such as oat milk ice cream
- Shake hack: add a dash of vanilla on the top of the finished drink for extra vanilla goodness
